Service Description

A service for new clients to explore whether counselling with the Edinburgh Counselling Service is right for you. We will explore in greater depth what has brought you to counselling, your goals and anything else you feel relevant to you. It's also okay if you don't quite know what's wrong. Our therapists work with you from where you are and will support you in discovering whether we can clarify what's causing you distress. Sessions last for one therapeutic hour (50 minutes). There is no obligation for you to commit to counselling at this stage. If you don't see a time available that suits please get in touch, as sometimes we have ad hoc availability at other times. Please note these initial consultations are intended for individual counselling sessions and are non-refundable. If you’re interested in couples counselling, please kindly contact us prior to booking.
