Here at The Edinburgh Counselling Service, our aim is to offer compassionate, insightful and personalised counselling and psychotherapy in Edinburgh.

Our goal is to help others to heal from insecurities and past experiences, to grow into the person they truly are and thrive in their lives and relationships.
Our focus is on an evidenced based approach for stress, anxiety, trauma, relationships, low self-esteem, inner criticism, perfectionism, burnout and imposter syndrome.

Work With Us
Young People's Counselling
​
We provide a warm, safe and accepting space for young people aged 16 and over to express their feelings, learn about themselves and gain confidence and resilience.

If you feel something is amiss, or there is something is making you or your child unhappy, however small you or they feel it is please know support is available.
Individual Counselling
​
A collaborative space where you can freely express yourself and gain insight.

Areas of specialism include
working with individuals who struggle with stress, anxiety, confidence, trauma, relationships, low self-esteem, inner criticism, perfectionism, burnout and imposter syndrome

Couples/Marriage Counselling

We provide those seeking help with their relationship with an unbiased perspective to help remove whatever blocks are in the way of the relationship you desire.
Our couples counselling sessions can help facilitate your understanding of each other and yourselves, aid intimacy and communication while maintaining healthy individual boundaries.
